My
Story
The story of 1Girl began quite simply during Christmas 2015. Funds were tight for presents, so I decided to embrace the "old-fashioned way" and create gifts for our grown children and grandsons. This led me to make beauty products for the girls, freeing up money for gifts for our sons and grandsons.

The venture was successful, and my daughter-in-law asked me to bring samples to her workplace at the cancer center. After receiving requests for specific items, I pushed myself to create them. These items have become some of my most popular and cherished products. One such product was an acne bar, which introduced me to working with lye. I overcame my fear and asked for divine guidance in creating clean, natural products with minimal preservatives.

Since then, I have made creams, balms, and nasal inhalers that have helped cancer patients cope with post-treatment issues. I believe God has been with me every step of the way. While my products are not entirely organic, I use organic ingredients when possible and always list them in the ingredients section.

As for me, I am a mother of three grown children—two sons and a daughter. I have two daughters-in-law, a son-in-law, eight grandsons, and two granddaughters-in-law. We also have a cat named Paquita. Though no longer little, which is what "Paquita" means, she takes offense when called Chubby or "El Grande." She enjoys traveling with us in our RV.
